A warm welcome.
I am a private therapist in York providing one to one counselling for younger adults (18-40s) who may be finding life difficult for a wide range of reasons. I offer face to face and online sessions.

 Counselling can help you to:
-
Reduce feelings of anxiety and depression
-
Improve feelings of self worth and confidence
-
Build better relationships and help communication
-
Understand and process difficult experiences

Counselling takes you beyond coping; it helps you to improve how you feel about your self, your relationships and your life. Counselling is a confidential conversation that focuses on you. It gives you the opportunity to talk about anything that is causing you concern or distress.

As well as running my own counselling service, I also work as a counsellor at the University of York. I am particularly experienced at working with students, LGBT people and people with autism. My counselling approach is person centred.

I work on Tuesdays (10am-5pm) & Wednesdays (10am-5pm).
If you are interested in having counselling, use the "Contact me" button below. Let me know a bit about yourself and your availability on these days.
